Consultation & Consent

Do not want to book a Dosage Consult?

The information provided in these online guides is general guidance only. Your prescribed dosage may differ based on your individual medical assessment.

Your dosage must be confirmed during a Nurse Dosage Consult.

Repeat prescriptions will not be issued without attendance to a minimum of one Dosage Consult.

01

Starting dosage

When: Anytime

Volume: 0.05-0.1ml (5-10 units on syringe)

How often: 1x on injection day

How many times per week: 5 to 7x times per week

You must begin with the recommended Starting Dosage and must not exceed this dose unless specifically instructed during your Nurse Dosage Consult. We intentionally start at a lower dose to assess how you tolerate the medication. Remain on the Starting Dosage for a minimum of 3 days before considering any increase.
02

Option 1

When: Anytime

Volume: Up to 0.2ml (20 units on syringe)

How often: 1x on injection day

How many times per week: 5 to 7x times per week

For any dosage increase, you must first discuss this with our medical team. We do not recommend injecting more than 0.2 mL (20 syringe units) in a single injection. If an adjustment is clinically appropriate, you may refer to Option 2 if confirmed by our team.
03

Option 2 (recommended for injury or surgery recovery)

When: Anytime

Volume: 0.15ml (up to 15 units on syringe)

How often: 2× on injection day

How many times per week:  5 to 7x times per week

Injections must be spaced appropriately throughout the day. Do not administer doses close together or combine them into a single time period unless specifically instructed by our medical team.

  • Lower back – Below the waistline, just above where the buttocks meet the lower back.

  • Arms - upper outer arm
  • Never inject directly into joints, ligaments, tendons, or lean muscle.

Your injections are all Subcutaneous injections. They must be administered into fatty (subcutaneous) tissue only.
